Onion was my very first cat! I had loved cats my whole life, but my mom and I were both allergic, and I was never able to get one until my mid-twenties. He is a purebred Sphynx, and his lack of hair makes him perfect for a sneezy gal like me (it also makes him look a bit like a raw chicken, lol). Shortly after I adopted him, he hopped up on the kitchen counter while I was cooking and started batting an onion around like a ball. He wouldn’t leave it alone, no matter how many I times I put him on the ground. And so, he was named after his tragically forbidden love.

Onion is very well behaved, for the most part. He didn’t understand his new siblings at first, but now he loves them a lot. He enjoys fighting over the catnip with his sister, and lazing around on the couch with his brother. He’s also strangely invested in the reality TV shows I put on after a long day at work.
